1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
1 Tbl cinnamon
1 cup molasses
1 Tbl ginger
1 tsp salt
Directions:
Directions:
Put ingredients in a bowl and pour 1 cup hot water over. Stir until mixed.

Add enough flour and 1 Tbl soda to make a soft dough. Let stand in refrigerator until cold.

Roll out and cut into desired shapes

Bake 400º

Ice with powdered sugar frosting and coconut flavoring
