Pastry for 2 crust 9" pie
2 cups rhubarb
2 cups strawberries
1+1/4 cups sugar
3 TB flour
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 TB butter
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Line a 9" pie plate with 2/3 of the pastry

Preheat oven to 400º

Cut rhubarb into 1" pieces, peeling off the tough skin.

Hull & quarter strawberries, if large.

Combine rhubarb & strawberries & place into pastry shell.

Combine sugar, flour, & nutmeg in a bowl.

Cut butter into little pieces & add to flour mixture along with the eggs.. Mix well, then pour over the fruit.

Roll out remaining pastry & cut into 1/2" wide strips. Arrange over the pie in a lattice pattern.

Place pie in oven, immediately reduce heat to 350º& bake about 35 minutes or until the pastry is lightly browned & the rhubarb is tender
