1 c butter (2 cubes)
1/2 c powdered sugar
2 1/2 c flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c finely chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
heat oven to 400º

Cream butter & sugar. Add vanilla, flour and nuts. Dough will be crumbly.

Using a piece of foil, shape the dough into a rectangle about 2 1/2 inches high. Wrap the foil around the rectangle (use another piece if needed to make sure it is covered) Chill for at least 2 hours.

Slice rectangle into 1/2 inch slices and place on a cookie sheet.

Bake for 8 minutes or until lightly brown

Roll in powdered sugar right out of the oven at least twice to make sure they are fully covered.
