1 1/2 C SUGAR
2 EGGS
3 RIPE BANANAS (MASHED)
1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
3 TSP BUTTERMILK
1 TSP SODA
1/4 TSP SALT
2 C A/P FLOUR
1/2 C MILK
FILLING:
1/2 BOX POWDERED SUGAR (8OZ)
1/2 STICK BUTTER
1 RIPE BANANA (MASHED)
1/2 C CHOPPED PECANS

350º
CAKE: CREAM SHORTENING AND SUGAR. ADD EGGS, ONE AT A TIME BEATING AFTER EACH. BEAT IN VANILLA AND BUTTERMILK.
SIFT TOGETHER THE FLOUR,SODA AND SALT. ADD ALTERNATELY WITH MILK TO THE EGG MIXTURE. POUR INTO GREASED AND FLOURED CAKE PANS. BAKE UNTIL DONE.

FILLING:
CREAM TOGETHER BUTTERAND SUGAR. BEAT IN THE MASHED BANANA AND STIR IN THE COPPED PECANS. SPREAD BETWEEN THE LAYERS AND ON TOP.
