3 c whole milk
2 tbsp butter melted
2 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp of tabasco sauce
salt & pepper to taste


Cheese Sauce Variation:

2-3 c cheese (use variations of cheese. Softer cheeses melt easier)

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium pan warm the 3 cups of milk salt, pepper & tobasco sauce and set aside.
In a large pan melt butter. Add flour to butter to create a roux.
Slowly add milk while whisking until sauce is at your desired consistency. (should use all of the milk)

If making a cheese sauce, at this point turn off heat. Add a handful of cheese at a time whisking in the cheese until completely melted before the next handful. Continue to add the cheese until you have reached your desired cheese flavor.
