1 unbaked pie crust
3 C whole milk ( use condensed milk or half and half for richer taste)
1 C sugar
6 large eggs, room temperature
2 tsp vanilla extract
dash of nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
preheat oven to 350º
Spray a 9 1/2 inch pie pan with non-stick spray. Place the pie crust in the pan, pressing the dough against the sides of the pan
Beat together the sugar, eggs, nutmeg, and vanilla in a medium bowl. Whisk in the milk until the mixture is smooth. Pour the mixture into the pie shell
Sprinkle the top lightly with nutmeg and bake for 45 minutes or until set. The center will jiggle slightly when done.
cool the pie, then refrigerate and chill. Serve plain, or with whipped cream and/or sliced fruit or berries on the side.
