1 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c cocoa powder
2 t. baking powder
1/4 t salt
3/4 c milk
1/4 c unsalted butter, melted (i used salted)
1 t. vanilla

fudge sauce:
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 T. cocoa powder (i used unsweetened)
1 1/4 cups boiling water (seems like a lot but use it all ( more pudding that way)

Directions:
preheat oven to 350, lightly grease a 9-inch square baking dish. pre-boil water in kettle while preparing cake.
cake: combine 1/2 c sugar with the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt, add in the milk, butter and vanilla, whisk until smooth and fairly lump free. pour batter evenly into baking dish. '

sauce: combine the remaining 1/2 c sugar, brown sugar and remaining 3 T cocoa powder, evenly sprinkle over the batter. slowly pour boiling water over the top. NO NOT STIR OR MIX.

Bake 35 minutes or until center is almost set. remover from oven, allow to cool for 15 minutes, i serve with fresh whipped cream, or ice cream.
