Granulated sugar to coat the rim of the glass
3 ounces Absolut Citron
1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 ounce Simple Syrup (recipe below)
1 lemon wedge

Directions:
Directions:
Moisten the outside of the glass with some of the vodka or lemon juice. Holding the glass sideways, sprinkle lightly with the sugar turning the glass. (Have a paper towel underneath.) Or, place the sugar on a plate and rim the glass that way.

Fill a large shaker two-thirds full of ice cubes. Add the vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake until well-blended and chilled. Strain into a a prepared glass; garnish with a squeeze of the lemon.


Simple Syrup

2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups water

In a small saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Cook over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar completely dissolves and the syrup is clear, 3-6 minutes. Do not boil. Remove the pan from the heat and allow the syrup to cool.

Put the syrup into a bottle or jar, and refrigerate. It will keep indefinitely. (It is recommended that you store it in a bottle with pour spout.)
