1 (2lb.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
1 (10.5oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (8oz.) container sour cream
1 c. butter, melted, divided
½ c. chopped onion
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. ground black pepper
1 c. crushed cornflakes

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350º.
Mix together hash browns, Cheddar cheese, soup, sour cream, ½of the melted butter, onion, salt and pepper in a bowl.
Transfer mixture to a 9x13 in. baking dish.
Sprinkle the cornflakes on top, then drizzle with remaining melted butter.
Bake in the preheated oven until sauce is bubbly and top is golden brown, 1 to 1½ hrs,
