15 Brussels sprouts, halved lengthwise
1 1/2 Tbsp butter
1 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, smashed flat with a knife
grated Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the butter and olive oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat until the butter is foamy.
Reduce heat to medium, add the garlic and, cook until lightly browned.
Remove the garlic and discard, then add the Brussels sprouts, cut side down.
Cover and cook without stirring over medium-low heat for 10 - 15 minutes, until tender when pierced with a knife.
Top with grated Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
