Banana Bread Recipe

1 1/2 C flour
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 egg
1/4 C white sugar
1/4 C brown sugar
1/2 C butter, melted
2 large bananas, very ripe
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 C pecans or walnuts,
chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease and line a 9x5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper. Lightly sprinkle with flour. Beat egg, add sugar, butter, mashed bananas and vanilla. Sift flour, soda and salt together. Add egg mixture to flour and stir just until blended. Do not over stir. Pour batter into pan.

Bake for 50-60 minutes. Bread is done when it shrinks from side of pan or toothpick comes out clean when inserted in middle of loaf. Cool in pan 10 minutes and remove to rack to finish cooling before slicing.

Can be made in two small loaf pans (4x7) Bake 40-50 minutes
