1 lb. Jimmy Dean pork sausage
3 Tbsp bacon grease
1/4 cup all purpose flour
3 cups milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper


Directions:
Directions:
1. Brown sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove sausage and set aside, leaving drippings in the skillet.
2. Add bacon grease to sausage drippings. Reduce heat to medium, stir in flour and stir constantly until mixture just turns golden brown.
3. Gradually whisk milk into skillet. When the mixture is smooth, thickened and begins to bubble, return sausage to skillet. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes.

Serve over warm biscuits. (Can also serve over toast or pancakes)
