4 cups warm water
2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp yeast
1 cup scalded milk
¼ cup honey
1 Tbsp salt
½ cup oil
½ tsp oregano
½ tsp summer savory
½ tsp garlic powder
6-7 cups flour (or to make a soft dough)

Directions:
Mix sugar with warm water, sprinkle yeast over. let stand until bubbly.
In the mean time mix milk, honey, salt, oil. Add to yeast mixture. Start by mixing the herbs, spices with 2 cups flour. Add to liquid and mix well with whisk. Add remaining flour to make a soft dough. Let rise twice. Form into loaves, french bread, rolls.
Let rise, then with very sharp knife score lines. Brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with marble and parmesan cheese. Bake at 375ºF for 20 minutes or till golden.
