3 cups sugar
1 cup Crisco
6 eggs, separated
¼ teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon orange extract
not quite 1 teaspoon coconut extract
1 cup buttermilk (or 1 cup regular milk plus 1 tablespoon vinegar)
3 cups flour
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pineapple extract

Glaze:
3 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon orange extract
1 cup sifted confectioners sugar

Cake:
Grease and flour bundt cake pan. Blend sugar and Crisco together well. Separate eggs. Add eggs (the egg yolks), one at a time to the sugar and Crisco mixture. In a separate bowl, mix flour, soda and salt. Then mix flour mixture into sugar and Crisco mixture alternately with buttermilk. (Beginning and ending with flour mixture). Beat egg whites until stiff. Then fold into cake. Bake in bundt pan at 350º for 1 hour 10 minutes.

Glaze:
Warm milk and butter until butter is melted. Add orange extract and sifted confectioners sugar. Mix and spread on cake.
