500g block all butter puff pastry

Plain flour for dusting

1 egg beaten

Line 2 baking trays with baking parchment

Roll out the pastry until slightly thicker than a £1 coin then make 2 halves

Using an 8cm round cutter, press down to make12 circles
Place on the baking trays

Then roll out the second pastry to slightly thinner and press down using
the 8cm cutter to make 12 circles again. Using a 6cm cutter, Cut out the centre and discard.

Place each ring on top of the discs already on the trays.

Brush each one with the beaten egg and bake 180c fan/gas 6 for 15-20 minutes until puffed up and golden brown.
