1 box vanilla cake mix
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Great and flour two 9 inch round cake pans.

In a bowl, mix vanilla cake mix, orange juice, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Frosting:
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp orange zest
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Whip heaving cream, powdered sugar, orange zest, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

Frost the cooled cakes with the orange cream frosting.

This is one of my all time favorites. Great for Christmas or Summer. I also make candied oranges, mandarin oranges, or tangelos to decorate.
