3 cups sugar
1 cup Cider vinegar
1 cup water
bell peppers

Directions:
Directions:
1.) Boil sugar, vinegar and water till sugar is dissolved to make syrup.

(2.) Cut peppers in half removing seeds & stem. Boil in water for 2 minutes. Drain.

(3.) Pack peppers in canning jars and add 2 tsp. salt and 1 T. oil to each jar.


(4.) Then add hot brine to dill each jar. (* be sure brine is boiling hot.)

(5.) Make sure the rim of each jar is clean and dry. Place lid and rim on each jar and tighten (*do not over tighten)

(6.) Turn each jar upside down on counter as you fill them. After 5 minutes turn jars right side up and don't touch them. They will begin to seal one by one.

(7.) Allow to rest over night, then check each jar to be sure they sealed.
