Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 medium size elephant, cut up in bite-size pieces (takes about a month)
50 bu. Carrots, peeled and cut up
100 Ib. potatoes, peeled and cut up
20 Ib. celery, chopped
20 Ib. onion, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Put preceding ingredients in a very large pot. Add enough brown gravy to cover; salt and pepper to taste and cook over a kerosene stove at 465 degrees for about 4 weeks. This serves about 3800 people. If more are expected, add two rabbits. However, add rabbits only if necessary, because most people do not like hare in their stew.
