"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

¼ cup butter or margarine
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
¼ cup granulated sugar
Vegetable shortening (Crisco) for frying

Directions:
Mix baking mix and water in bowl until combined and no longer sticks to sides of bowl and is a good consistency to roll out. Place dough on floured surface and roll to ¼" thickness, in 8" to 9" circles. Pat butter on half of each circle. Mix cocoa and sugar together in separate small bowl. Sprinkle buttered side of circle generously with cocoa-sugar mixture. Fold unbuttered side over and seal by pressing a fork along the edges. Melt shortening in frying pan on medium-high heat; fry on both sides approximately 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
