Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb. Ground beef
1/3 lb. Ground pork
3/4 c. Bread crumbs or slice of bread soaked in 1/2 c. milk Can use panko also.
1 Egg
1 tsp. kosher salt
couple grinds of black pepper
1 Small onion grated and drained
1/2 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

4 T. butter
1-1/2 T flour
1 c. beef broth
1/2 c. sour cream
dash Worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Combine above 9 ingredients, shape into 1 inch balls.

Place 3/4 of the 4 T butter in skillet over medium-high heat. Brown balls about 10 minutes.

Remove balls and most of the fat.

Whisk in flour and remaining butter into the pan.

Add broth, whisk and simmer until thickens, about 2 minutes. Make sure there are not a lot of lumps.

Stir in worcestershire sauce, dash of pepper (I like white pepper)

Reduce heat to low, stir in sour cream (be sure heat is low or even off or sour cream will curdle).

With pan on low or medium-low, return balls to pan for 8-10 minutes..

Serve with noodles, mashed potatoes, maybe rice.

Serve with lingonberry (tart) or cranberry sauce. Ligonberry is hard to find, Amazon will have it or perhaps Trader Joe's. (This condiment should not be skipped.)

Add vegetable of your choice, I like green beans, broccoli or something with color.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I tried Swedish meatballs for the first time at Ikea where they are know for. I was hooked on the taste and found a recipe or two that I pulled from, added a few things of my own and I do not actually measure everything, all is close but I cook and taste.
