Ingredients:
Ingredients:
5-6 lb brisket (trimmed)
2 onions sliced
1 clove garlic
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup white vinegar
1 cup ketchup
1 cup pineapple juice
1 tsp salt
Ground pepper to taste

I usually double the ingredients to make sure the brisket is covered in sauce.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350º

Place onions and garlic in roasting pan
Put brisket on top
Mix other ingredients together and pour over brisket
Cover and bake until tender

Serve on pistolets

Most of the time I put in the oven on 250º before bed and take it out when we wake up.

It is better the second day after it sits in the sauce. Grease will harden on top, just remove before reheating.

Personal Notes:
I made this brisket for my first wedding anniversary in 1993. We still make this for holidays, parties or just because.
