2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
Salt to taste
Pepper, to taste
1 cup milk
3-4 ounces Velveeta, Cheddar or other cheese, shredded or cut into chunks
1 (16-ounce) bag frozen peas

Directions:
Directions:
In pain, milk, butter; stirring flour, and cooking and stir into smooth. Seasoned to taste with salt and pepper. Stir and milk and cook, stirring, over medium to medium high heat until thickened reduce heat to low or warm and stirring cheese.
Meanwhile, cooked peas, according to package directions in a minimum of salted water until barely done. Drain and add peas to cheese sauce and serve.
