Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 ½ to 3 ¾ cups bread flour
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup butter (half stick) at room temp
1 tsp salt
2 ¼ tsp bread machine yeast
½ cup water
½ cup milk
1 large egg

Greased (I use lard or Crisco) 13x9 pan. Can use a smaller one or muffin pan if
doing cloverleaf rolls.

Melted butter for brushing tops

Directions:
Directions:
Mix milk, water and sugar and warm to 80-90 degrees. Add yeast and stir with
whisk. Let sit for at least 10 minutes or until it’s foamy.
Beat egg and add to bread machine. Add butter. Add yeast mixture. Then add
flour. Add the salt on top of the flour.
Select dough cycle and start.
When the dough cycle is complete, roll out the dough on a floured surface.
Dough will be slightly sticky. Roll into a rectangle about a half to quarter inch thick. Cut the dough into strips then into squares about 3 inches. For cloverleaf, cut 1 inch
squares. I use a pizza cutter.
Shaping the rolls: for rolls, stretch the dough slightly and turn the corner inwards
on the bottom until you get a ball. Press the corners to seal. Place seam side down.
For cloverleaf rolls, use the same shaping technique to make small balls. Place 3 into
each muffin cup.
Brush the tops with melted butter. Spray plastic wrap with cooking spray and lay
over pan. Let rise in warm place for 30 minutes.
Bake at 375 degrees using bake cycle, not convection, for 12-15 minutes. When
done, brush tops again with melted butter. And voila!
