Overnight French Toast Casserole Recipe

1/2 cup melted butter
12 slices Texas toast
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
5 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk

Directions:
Directions:
Pour melted butter into a sprayed 9x13 pan.
Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg together.
In separate bowl, whisk eggs, milk and vanilla together.
Layer the bottom of pan with half of the bread slices.
Sprinkle half of the brown sugar topping on top.
Layer second half of bread slices.
Sprinkle other half of brown sugar topping on top.
Pour egg mixture over it all, making sure all pieces are covered evenly.
Sprinkle top with cinnamon.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
In the morning, replace foil and bake in pre-heated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Take foil off and bake uncovered for 15 more minutes.

Remove from over and pour a little maple syrup over top.
