3 cups sugar
3/4 cup light corn syrup
3/4 cup hot water
1/2 tsp salt

2 egg whites
1 pkg strawberry jello
1 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup coconut, if desired
Directions:
Directions:
Butter sides of heavy 2 qt saucepan. In saucepan combine first 4 ingredients, cook and stir until sugar dissolves. Cook to hard ball stage without stirring. Remove from heat.

Beat egg whites, until soft peaks form. Beat in jello until stiff peaks form. Pour hot syrup over egg white mixture, starts to leve its gloss. Stir in nuts, drop on waxed paper.
