3 c. sifted flour - plain
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp.nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. baking soda
Sift ingredients until dirty looking.

Directions:

Combine:
2 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. buttermilk
3 eggs
1/4 c. oil
Mix flour mixture with the liquid mixture.
Mix in:
3 c. chopped apples
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Bake in tube pan at 325 degrees for about 1 hour or until the cake begins to pull loose from pan.

Cream Cheese Frosting:
1 box confectioners sugar
1 8oz. pkg cream cheese, room temperature
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix and spread on cake.
