3 whole chicken breasts, split
1/2 c. butter or margarine
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 c. beer
1 T. chopped parsley
1/2 t. ground pepper

Directions:
Directions:

1. Rinse chicken and pat dry.
2. Melt butter in a small pan over medium heat, add garlic and onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until onion is hot.
3. Add beer and bring to boil stirring.
4. Remove from heat.
5. Stir in parsley, pepper; pour into large bowl. Turn chicken in butter mixture to coat.
6. Lift out and drain briefly (reserve butter mixture.)
7. Place chicken, skin side up, on grill 4-5 inches above coals.
8. Cook, turning and basting frequently with butter mixture.
