Diced raw onions
Ground up left-over cooked roast beef
Oil for frying

Heat some cooking oil in the bottom of a skillet until hot. Add the potatoes, beef and onions. Salt and pepper to taste. Fry just as you would fried potatoes, turning several times while browning to a golden brown, probably from 10-15 minutes.

This is the way my mother made what we called "Hash" and the whole family looked forward to it with great and hungry anticipation! But no one loved it more than I did! Since then, your dad (Jeff) joined the band wagon, and I looked forward to fixing it for him. Tasty stuff! And a good way to use leftovers! Even leftover hash is good "left-over"!
