2 cups sugar
4 large eggs
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
1/4 Lb butter (1 stick or 1/2 cup)
1 cup milk
1 Tbs vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Beat the sugar and eggs well. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to the sugar and eggs and beat well. Melt butter in the milk, then add to the mixture. Mix well with a spatula. DO NOT BEAT!! Stir in the vanilla pour into 2 greased and floured cake pans. Bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes
