6 thick center-cut pork chops
2 large onions
1 large can of whole tomatoes
1 can (16 oz.) tomato sauce or juice
flour
2 C. cooked rice

Directions:
Directions:
Brown chops on both sides. Remove. Sautee onions in same pan. Add chops, tomatoes, tomato sauce (or juice), and seasonings. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Remove meat and thicken tomato mixture with flour that has been made into a smooth paste with water. Boil three minutes, stirring constantly. Place rice in center of large platter. Arrange chops around the rice and pour sauce over the rice.
