3/4 c. spry, 1/2 tsp. vanilla 2 c. sugar, 31/4 c. sifted cake flour, 1/2 c milk, 11/2 tsp almond, 3/4 tsp salt, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 c. water, 6 egg whites
PINEAPPLE FILLING:3/4 c. pineapple juice, 3/4 c. crushed pineapple,3/4 c. sugar, 1/3 tsp salt, 2 Tbl. cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Combine salt, extract, flavoing, and spry. Add sugar, cream until fluffy. Add baking powder to flour and sift 3 times. Combine with above mixture alternately qith milk and water. Beat egg whites stiff. Combine. Bake at 350 in greased layered pans.
PINEAPPLE FILLING: Mix together pineapple juice, crushed pineapple, sugar, salt and corn starch.Cook then add 1 tsp. lemon juice and 1 Tbl, butter. COOL: Spread between cake layers. Frost with White mountain cream.
